Default Will Coach help with a defect on a department store piece?

I just bought a cute swingbag from Macy's this weekend. I only noticed a major ding on the turnlock when I got home. I don't think they have any left as I remember the SA telling me that it was on sale coz it's the last one. Could I bring it to a Coach store and see if it can be replaced?

Yes.
Does not matter where it was purchased as long as it's Coach.

Oh really, that's great! Thanks 90046!!! Should I leave the tag on to show that it's brand new and the ding didn't come from daily use?
