So, I was debating on which bag to buy. I went to the Coach store and spent about an hour looking around. The girls were very helpful and I ended up buying a bag there. Then I went to Dillards and saw they had Coach bags. I saw one that they didn't have at Coach and loved it and accidentally bought it, lol. And I got a wristlet that was 25% off (I had to). So....which one do I keep??? The first one is a Hamptoms Signature Satchel and the second one is a Signature Stripe Tote And PS - I asked about the Madeline because they didn't have any, she said they're at outlets now. Stupid Kansas :(

I like the 1st one. It's versatile.. can be used as a satchel, shoulder bag or messenger style. The color and carrying capacity is great too!

I say keep bag number one. I agree that it looks more versatile.

^^^I totally agree. They're both pretty, but I'd keep the first one! It's more versatile. Decisions, decisions!

I don't really like the long strap on the Satchel though. The straps adjust so I put them the furthest they could go and wore it over my shoulder. It's still a little too close to my armpit for my liking though. But you guys are right, it's an awesome bag. I just love the shape of it.

Both! I like the style fo the first one, but i love love love the gold on the signature stripe tote. Haha I am no help.

Well IMO I'd pick the second one. I love it!

I LOVE the charm on the first one, but I'm not that crazy about the bag. Also, you do know you bought a display bag, right?? Maybe you did it intentionally, but sometimes they bring them out from the back stockroom and don't tell you it's been out on the floor, so I just wanted to mention that. The brown tag with the hang tag gives it away.

I really like the second bag. I've always liked these A LOT, and I'm not a huge sig fan in general.

IMO either are fairly versatile, so both are good choices on that score with maybe option 1 having the slight edge.

She went and got it from the back, actually. We put the display one back after I had thrown all my crap in it to test it out. I didn't know I got the display model.

But regardless, I think I am keeping the tote. The satchel is just too close to my armpit when I wear it on my shoulder. I don't like the extra long strap at all though. So I think the tote is probably a better fit for me.

^^ They sometimes bring bags in and out of rotation. So that bag probably had been out on the floor and then was put back in the stockroom. I just don't like it when they don't tell you that, but otherwise I would buy a good display with no hesitation if it was in good condition and the bag I wanted.

i like the satchel..but it is rather mature....

Tough call. I love the gold in the tote.
