Oh that's ok! I thought "there's another one?" LOL

I also ordered the Pinnacle Textured leather Carrie in Expreso. I had to order that one on back order.

Personally I do not like it. IRL, there is not Caroline-esque about it. Secondly although you can not tell in these pics it is very bright color.

Ok, the size. If you are looking for something considerably smaller you will be happy. I instantly noticed the size difference. I think it is very similar to a sophia . For the price I think you could get something much prettier with more detail.
Sorry she wasn't what you were hoping for... I was afraid that she was going to be just as you described....
back to day dreaming of the Ultra Marine Caroline coming soon....!!!!

Thanks for giving me some silver lining, it is not at all what I wanted it to be.
Well better for my wallet. There really is no replacement for the Carolines, I am kinda insulted that this is their attempt.

No offense but to me this a satchel version of a Hailey. Just not my thing. And I own the vachetta Caroline from 2011 and I like it and it is simple, but this is too plain for me. I almost returned it on the spot but I thought you guys would want to take a peak.

Thank you for posting pictures and your opinion. They are valued. I think the Carolines are beautiful bags...works of art, really...for me they are too large and heavy, and I was hoping the Carrie would be a better size. I don't think it's bad..very classic; but for 498? Well, the diagonal leather looks more interesting.

I'm actually glad that there's a smaller version of the Caroline! I always thought the Caroline was a little too big (for my taste). Might have to get one of these and see if I like it.

Thanks for the reveal!

Let me be clear, I am not trying to deter anyone from getting it. I just feel if you like the essence of the Carolines, this just doesn't have that to me. Also this is the lowest priced and simplest Carrie available. The more detailed ones may have more of an appeal. I just know as of right now there are other bags in that price range or lower that I have my eye on.

For those who were wanting a smaller lighter version, than this is both. It may not look a lot smaller, but there is a noticable difference. I even think it's lighter than the Sophia and baby Sages. I think they will do well.

Oh, lighter is definitely good. Personally, I think Sophia is pretty heavy for how small it is!

To me it's a feather weight, mostly cause it's just a smooth leather, which helps, only the vachetta Caroline was like that and it is still much heavier. I own lots of the older 65th anniversary vachetta bags so this was like a paper bag in comparison.

I didn't care for my textured raspberry today when it arrived, either. The color is gorgeous--more like a deep scarlet. But the leather looks plastic-y and the bag is a tad too small for me. It does have a gold and graphite chain strap w the gold horse & carriage logo tag. But it didn't wow me. The seam down the front middle adds to the PVC look of bag.

I do love the color of your punch Carie. But I'm on the same page w you on other characteristics.

Oh well. I guess we just will remain Caroline girls!

Thanks for sharing your bag w us!!!!
