The "New" Legacy for Factory Tote

OK, I called my very helpful SA and she told me that the tote 12888 is coming in 4 colors: whiskey, black, raspberry & rose and it will retail for $408.00. :)

Oops - I had the number wrong. It's 12888.

OMG it is just liket he slimtote, I have to have one in whiskey thanks ! Maybe the leather is lighter too

Wow. It sure looks JUST LIKE the original. I know the leather will be lighter and everything, and it won't have the lining, but man, that's close.

Thanks for posting this! I saw these too on eBay, although she says the style number is 12888. I didn't remember the number from when I saw it in the factory look book. But I'm just curious...is the factory model the same size or actually smaller?? The Ebay dimensions seem smaller than the actual retail bag to me, but I have not measured it. Of course it's probably approx. dimensions anyway.

She said that the price will be $408.00 and it was the factory price and it was not going to be an additional any time soon. She said that they had the raspberry on hand and that I could coe in and look at it but I would not be able to buy it b/c it was just the sample.

This actually torments me a bit. I really love that Raspberry color but seriously, they made them identical to the originals??? ....doesn't that bother anyone else? It bugs me. I was just looking at my original legacy tote and except for the length of the zipper pulls and the lining, they are almost exact.

The leather strap on the zipper pull is shorter. I like the new raspberry. I wonder if the rose is the same like the old dusty pink rose or like the new brighter rose.

Honestly..I have mixed feelings, but TBH I'm not loving a lot of retail stuff right now so I'm still open. However, YES, this does bother me given that Legacy was supposed to be somewhat "exclusive".

It's VERY similar but also different...hang tag, lining, and most of all...leather. I also thought it looked smaller than the retail bag, but maybe I'm full of it!

I am ton b/c I LOVE this bag and have waited a year to find her, but at the same time, mine has the Legacy stripe lining which makes the bag so flipin gorgeous!

As for the measurements: 15 X 12 X 3. It is much slimmer than the Gigi. It's almost flat against my body when I wear it.
