well as shown in this picture it has the option to buckle in the center, almost like a feature on a travel bag but I don't ever buckle it.

Thank you this is a great bag!! It buckles like a belt buckle. See picture above. I never buckle it or else it would be too hard to get in and out of.

Style no: 19997 color B4/CY (Cherry), $798. Also will be available in Chocolate, Elephant (gray), and Emerald. ( I think all brass hardware.) Thank you for the compliment! I'm totally loving this bag. I've been carrying it non stop since Saturday.

Ok I'm alive. But I think my heart stopped for a minute. I'm in total LUST. Need the oxygen tank. I want this bag. Like, now. I love everything about it, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to have this in chocolate. I can't breathe!
