Should i go with Marc Jacobs or Coach

hi ladies! i want to buy a new bag but im debating whether i should choose the coach black leather zoe or the MBMJ faridah in black leather, the pic shows a metallic color but i want the black leather. what do you think, should i go with MJ or Coach?

I've looked at Marc Jacobs and never fell in

with any of their bags. I love Coach because the internal compartments are consistent from bag to bag and I think I'm stuck with Coach. I have Roots flat bags too and they also have compartment segregation that are similar in their own line. I guess I need bags with consistent compartmentalization so that switching them on a daily basis is as easy as pie. I don't seem to find that Marc Jacob has enough pockets inside to keep me happy.

depends, the zoe is probably more versatile unless your wardrobe is really casual. I really like those MbyMJ bags but they seem very casual to me.

Oooh go with the MJ. I have the bag below in the metallic leather and I believe it's the same leather as the one in your pic and it's TDF. I absolutely love it!

I'm not saying this just because I'm a Coach fan (I don't personally care for the Zoe), but I don't like the MJ. But obviously if you posted, you like it, so go for it!

i have the mbmj faridah in mouse grey from fall 07 and the zoe leather hobo is on my coach list! if you have the budget i'd say go for both!

ps. leather wise the faridah is really soft. so if you're looking for a smooshy soft pebbly leather i'd go for mbmj! fyi mj and mbmj are too different lines. mbmj is the $400-$600 casual kind range whereas mj is the super expensive collection kind that starts from 1k up.

This is going to sound so picky but I'd go with the Coach because I cannot stand the linings in MJ bags (either line, although MBMJ usually bugs me more). It's just... his name. Blech. Turn off. I prefer solid or something pretty like the legacy stripe. Dunno - I do really like the bag though but every time I've come close to buying one I see the lining and go with something else.
