Coach! You can get a purse and wallet from the cost of a pochette!

I have three LV pochettes and I think they're great as evening/special occasion bags or general use if you don't carry a lot around much (you can fit like a wallet, cell phone, and lipstick in it). If you carry around a lot of stuff you might get more use out of a Coach bag (you can always get a pochette at a later date or a vice versa).

I say Coach too. You can get a bag, wallet + wristlet prolly for the same price. I'd have more satisfaction knowing I got 3 for the price of one.

I say get what you want. Or if it's just straight up a gift - take what you are given :) It sounds like you mom would really like to give you the LV, and since it's her money she's spending and it's for your birthday I think you should graciously accept what she wants to give you.

Only from the outlet or the bay...lol...a pochette is only $300.

Pochettes are great for the necessities and days you don't want a big bag, but I wouldn't use mine everyday as my only bag. If you need an everyday bag, I would go for a Coach....or tell mom you want a Speedy...

I have an LV pochette and have only used it twice on it's own for going out, otherwise I just use to hold my smaller items in my larger LV bags. So I wouldn't really recommend getting it esp if you don't really use evening bags it's probably better to spend the money on a nice Coach bag that you can use as an everyday bag or at least more often :)

I want a pochette but I'd still get a coach-more bang for your buck-and not so flashy.

If you go ahead with the LV, the price increase starts on the 19 of this month
