Question Sell or Keep???

Hello Coachies, Please Help me, Im getting bored with my Swingpack Collection & I want to get something NEW. Selling them means getting a quick money to fund my new collection & Keeping them means I need to wait & save for my new collection. TIA

If your not using them sell them. You might want to keep one that goes with the most outfits,so you won't have sellers remorse.

OMG, you're bored with your swingpacks? You've got the most incredible gorgeous collection my eyes have ever feasted upon. You could start a Coach swingpack museum and charge admission and make money that way. I'd be glad to come and have a tour of your collection.

I have only one Coach swingpack but I've got other bags that are like swingpacks. You've inspired me to feel good that I'm not 'overdoing it' with my crossover pouches. I carry them proudly knowing somebody on TPF possesses a more gorgeous extensive collection and enjoys crossover pouches like I do.

If you're planning to sell some, maybe sell the ones that are still in the market (of course you're not going to start by selling your gorgeous legacy turnlock swingpack--duh!) and siggy canvassed. I would go by getting rid of the siggy canvas swingpacks without the turnlock because I love the turnlock closures.

I'm sorry to hear this. Every single one of your swingpacks are simply gorgeous entities in their own right!

Maybe we should set up a 'new bag contribution donation jar' to protect from the demolition of your swingpack collection.

Take care,

I'm so torn about the whole collection thing. Like with my coin purses, keyfobs and charms. I don't think I could ever get rid of them. I think I would feel really sad since it took so long to acquire such an awesome collection.

If you have never used some and would like to purge them then yes, you should let them go. If you have some that are really htf and you will feel a loss, then wait. You have such an incredible collection and have always been so proud of them.

I do understand the getting bored thing though. I have a massive collection of (Coach) handbags and accessories (wallets, wristlets,scarves...oh my!) that I really could part with. I guess I'm just too lazy to list them all.

There are some other designers I would love to have and am just not willing to spend the money out of pocket. It's just not worth it to me. Maybe if I would stop being lazy and just list, I could justify it.

So, If you won't feel bad about parting to get something else, then definately do it.

Anyway, sorry to have gone on so long.

with my pouch collection, i only ever buy those i really like. i did go through some consideration of buying every pouch just to collect them, but i didn't. ultimately, i want a collection that isn't just for display. i want a collection that actively gets to go out in the world with me.

i think you should sell the ones you don't/will never wear. maybe keep one of each colour, and the more special ones. good luck with your decision! and i can't wait to see what your new collection would be like!

You could definitely sell a few, still have a gorgeous collection AND fund a new bag, so thats what I would do - just sell those that you are "eh" about.

^Dragonette^ I'm starting to get a little envious about your pouch collection. It's something that I cannot carry and still look good carrying from the Coach collection. I'm starting to understand that Coach makes bags for everybody--every body type.

Pouches would not make any sense to my lifestyle or my body type but look absolutely gorgeous on somebody else. Crossover pouches are one of my favourite things because they keep my hands free, store my most important stuff close to my body, I get easy access to everything I really need, and I can store my bigger bags in the office and take off to the mall for a break easily swinging this off my hip.

So, yeah, I appreciate Coach and TPF for showing me every-body has different needs and uses for different styled bags.

Take care,

Well, do you have more that you would like to carry around? I would definitely sell them in that case so you have a bag you can carry more in.

In my case I only use the swingpack while on vacation and just want a wallet, passport, cash, etc.. with me.

If you love them and use them I would keep them. If you just want something else and have something specific in mind, I would see if you have a few you wouldn't mind parting with and try to get something different.

I can see where you'd want to sell ones that will be unused.
On the other hand, I LOVE seeing all your swingpacks together.
Tough, I know!

Do you have anything else (non-Coach) you could sell to fund new Coach bags?!?!?!
Other designer bags or clothes?

Take care,
unfortunately (and fortunately for my bank account) coach does not have as many pouch designs as full-sized bags. there are so many designs that i would love to see in pouch size! imagine a little francine/luci/miranda, a baby lily, a tiny pleated ergo satchel!
