So I'm missing 4 hang tags (2 vintage black, one tuberose and an early 2000s black, all leather). I didn't know about replacements until you lovely ladies! So I called and ordered about 2 weeks ago. They arrived today. I got a silver metal one instead of pink because they said pink wasn't available. It's nice. Then I got these 3 that are a weird off black (brownish to me!) color and they smell like new tires, not leather :( They have no stitching, they're just glazed on the edges and pressed with the Coach logo. They're floppy, not firm. Is this what they typically give for replacements? I thought they at least tried to match the bags. They asked for the style number of each, which I gave them.

I think because you asked for vintage tags, this is what they sent. The vintage tags didn't have stitching and were floppy. They didn't look like those exactly (they weren't flattened around the edges) but that might be what they are using now for the classics.

I requested some a long time ago and I never got them. It is bad news that the tuberose wasn't available. I need the rose from 2006 legacy.

These look like bronze to me. Call them back, let them know what was sent and ask for black.

I need to get one for a vintage black leather bag I just got. Can you get plain brass? Or only colors? I'd like a plain, black leather one, but if it comes like that, I'd prefer metal. Also, how much do they charge for replacement hang tags? Thanks!

They're free. They do have brass.

I didn't ask for vintage ones. Just black leather. :(

I recently needed hangtags for a woven sage and ended up at one of the stores. I tried to order over the phone but it didn't work. The SA just pulled out this huge sectioned container of tags and I got to dig through and pick the ones I wanted. They did not have the light denim color but I did get some cool sparkly hantags. I would suggest going to a store if you can-then you can pick.

Definitely try the store! That's a great idea!

I ordered on the phone once for my python bleecker even giving the style#, got tiny navy vintage leather tags that didn't go at all.

I called again to see if they would try it again, the SA was really friendly and I did end up with a pretty decent match the second time using two tags which was her idea (one leather one metal) to replace the large luggage style that they didn't have. I think it depends on who answers the phone and who's actually digging through tags to mail them out (whether they have a clue what they're looking for or just see "blue tag" and pick a couple and mail them).

If I go to the store do I have to bring the bag? I have several and I don't really want to have to carry them in.

I didn't take my bag but I only needed tags for one. Maybe you could take pictures of them and take that?

I would think if you took really good pictures you wouldn't need to bring them all in.

I requested one for a chocolate Carly that has since been sold. Did that three months ago and they never sent it. Oh well.

Called and whined about the color. Didn't mention that my bags were vintage, just told them I needed black tags. She supposedly ordered them for me again. She gave me an order number. So to the people on here who said they've ordered before and received nothing, make sure to get an order number! Than you can call back and follow up.

My tag is real thin and very bendable. It came on my stewardess bag today. All my other tags are sturdy and stitching around them. This one is almost like foamy feeling.
