Well, this morning Fed Ex showed it on the truck, then they took it off and left it at the facility - ARGH. So of course I drove across town to pick it up myself!! Well, the plum leather is definitely gorgeous, but the bag is well, khaki signature. I thought I could get over that, but I just don't know if I can. My first bag was a Scribble tote (Mom's Day last year), then came my all brown sig Carly (very subtle signature), then my next four bags have all been leather and I've been drawn more towards leather ever since!! In fact, I'm having a hard time deciding whether to keep this one or get either the purple patent Bleecker tote that Donnalynn posted or a burnt orange tote or satchel. ARGH, I hate feeling this way. I am so indecisive.

What do you all think? Keep this one or exchange for Bleecker Tote, Burnt Orange Tote or Satchel???

For reference, I have a hot pink shirt on in the modeling pic and the pics I took outside probably show the truest color of the plum leather! I would say it's slightly brighter than the plum ergos but pretty close. (LOL, my weiner dog wanted in on the action as well!)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!! BUT, if you aren't feeling it, then get the other bag you are wanting. The siggy is pretty much something you either love or don't in my opinion. I think it looks fantastic with your pink top!

I like it! The plum is a great alternative neutral! Compliments the khaki very well.

Hey, no need to apologize. I appreciate the honesty...that's what I'm counting on!! The only reason I would consider the tote over the satchel is that the satchel just seems too short. Although maybe that would help with the illusion of making me appear taller... But I just love the burnt orange color...and the purple patent. Ah, why can't I get both?!?!

I agree, if your not feeling the bag then you should return it... I think the color combo is pretty, but I'm not a huge fan, I thought the plum was going to look different on the carly for some reason... ? I like the burnt orange satchel though!

I really love it, and think that it looks great on you, but I'm sensing that you just don't love it (?). If you really like the color (but not the sig.), I'd go with the bag that Donnalyn has. Then again, that burnt orange is gorgeous, too! Whatever you decide, you'll have a winner. Can't wait to hear what you end up choosing!

Wowza! Its just as pretty as I was hoping it would be but if your not loving it you should definetely get a bag you do love. Thanks so much for the pics.
As for your other choices I'd say I like the bleecker way over the burnt orange color satchel. Im just not digging that bag at all.

It's very pretty. However, like you, I prefer the leather handbags. It seems you are not really "feeling" this carly. I would definitely exchange it for the bleeker or the orange satchel. JMO. I've also read in other posts that there seems to be a problem with the corners wearing on the signature carlys. Maybe something to consider in making your decision.

I love this color! I agree with lorenzo that plum makes a good neutral. I think it would go with a lot. And I love the silky lining - so different from the other sig Carlys!

Sounds like I'd better make my mind up quick if the orange satchels are sold out at JAX!!! I might call my store and ask them to hold one for me just in case...

Does anyone know more about the bleecker patent totes...are they only in a few stores now b/c they haven't been fully released yet or are they limited edition??

I think it's pretty! BUT if you aren't loving it, don't keep it! These bags are too dang expensive to not be totally in love with them, imo.
