Which do you prefer? I have the metallic, but was thinking of returning it in exchange for the grey patent. Keep in mind that I'll be using this as a work bag. Thanks!

I vote for the gray patent. It's such a beautiful color and I think it can be used for all seasons.

I'm a metallic lover, so personally, I like the metallic better; yet as a work bag, the patent would probably be more appropriate, IMO.

There is no contest to me... As much as I love the Legacy metallic leather (and I have multiple bags in this leather), it's hands down gray patent for me. Normally I'm not a huge gray fan, but I will usually go for metallics. This gray patent has a slight pearlescent sheen to it, and with the nickel hardware, it is honestly STUNNING!! I have both of these Peytons, and if I had to choose, I would get rid of the metallic. In fact, I just bought the metallic during the 20% off, so it was one of the last Peytons to come home with me (outside a couple of the older leather colors that just recently popped up I'm getting). I didn't initially buy the gray patent either because I thought it would be like the Zoe, but I fell in love with it when I saw it IRL, so I purchased it during PCE.

JMO, though....you really should get the one YOU like and will use the most. They are both really nice!! Good luck on your decision!!

I like the grey for a work bag. Its very classy looking bag compared to the metallic.

Grey patent. For some reason I worry about the metallic leather, and also I think the grey is so classy looking and job appropriate. Good luck deciding!

I like how the gray patent has nickle hardware..normally hardware color doesn't matter to me but i'm not crazy about the brass on the metallic. Now on to durability....I mean think about...you will be getting ALOT of use out of this bag...you want it to be durable...you can't get much more durable then patent...think about it you won't have to worry about it in the rain! just my thoughts and reasoning! plus aren't some of the metallic bags known for flaking or something? idk ... anyway...again just my opinion!

Not an easy decision! I love patent because it is so durable and gorgeous, but that metallic bag is such a unique shade of metallic! There was another bag that came in that whitish metallic that I loved! I think it had a braided handle or some basketweave or something. Anyway, I'd probably keep the metallic and maybe later on get the patent graphite maggie or sabrina. They are soooo droolicious! And have you seen that patent graphite madison wallet?

Unless of course you have heard that particular metallic flakes or is really delicate, then I'd probably exchange for the patent. Let us know what you decide!!!

i vote grey patent, but that's my personal choice. Patent will hold up better if you use it on your shoulder alot.

^It will definitely be used only on the shoulder. It's a bit too big for me to carry as a satchel. Keep the opinions coming ladies, I need to make the final decision tonight!
