Default Patent Leather Owners.. How do you like your crinkle?

When i was picking out my pond tote, i noticed there were a ton of different textures within the patent leather family.. I tend to go towards the more smoother crinkle which is also more softer.. what about you?

I agree, I also like the smoother wrinkled look... obviously I wouldn't want my bag to feel like it looks when it has wrinkles... I mean it depends on how the leather is and how its going to wear... my ergo patent satchel has the smooth wrinkles... LOVE IT!

My patent gallery tote isn't wrinkled at all...it's pretty sturdy, not smooshy.
But, I won't mind if she gets wrinkled...we all do with age.

I have to say, I used to hate patent leather because it was so stiff, too shiny and always had fingerprints on it, but the new patent leather that most designers are using now rocks! It's very durable thanks to the coating on the leather, but the texture makes it look very cool, soft and smooshy! I kind of like my texture (wrinkles) in the mid range - I want texture, but not too much.

Yeah, mine's not like patent leather shoes...it's way easy to care for and doesn't show scratches or fingerprints. :)

I think it depends on the bag. My plum patent Bleecker tote is softer, and therefore has a more wrinkled texture, while my ruby patent gallery tote is structured, so its a smoother, stiffer patent. I love them both for their distinct look.

I keep meaning to ask you how you store yours. I am going to tuck mine away for awhile and use some of my other bags, but I can't figure out a good way to store it b/c the handles stick out of the dust bag and it slouches over. Do you stuff yours?

I have not used either my patent ergo or my patent capacity wristlet yet. I am not even sure I like those wrinkles, crinkles

Yes I stuff them all and then put them in an appropriate sized Coach box. I have a few larger sized boxes for the bags like that with handles that dont fold over well (Bleecker patent, pleated ergo satchel and Gigi for the size alone).
