Need size advice on Suellen Crackled Patent leather driving mocs!

Hi Everyone! Hope you've been having a great new year!

I found these Coach crackled patent leather shoes @ my Loehman's, and I couldn't decide what size so I put them both on hold. (I can't find any reviews for them online)

Do any of you guys have this shoe??? Does crackled patent leather stretch??? The shoes are quite soft and comfortably squishy.

The 8.5's are fine length-wise, but the toe box is a little snug on the sides. The 9's are totally comfortable, and fit just a little loose like slippers. I'd normally get the 9's, but am a little afraid that they might stretch out too much. Then again, I don't like "breaking in" shoes anymore, b/c it just tends to give me foot problems.
