Need opinions on an Ergo

Hi ladies, I am new to tPF, and although I'm pretty young I have loved Coach for years!

I was hoping to get some advice on a purse that I am REALLY wanting! It's the Ergo Metallic Leather Pleated Frame Satchel:

I know this purse is brand new from Coach, but I was wondering if you all think that it will eventually be available at the outlets? I know it's probably hard to tell, but maybe someone could give me advice based on past seasons/experiences? I live about 15 mins from an awesome Coach outlet, and after I saw all the sale prices they had this past weekend (I bought one bag, and I keep seeing everyone's pics of their gorgeous outlet finds!) I will probably never buy anything at retail price!

Last thing, does anyone know how the quality of the leather is? I know that metallic bags sometimes crack and flake off, would that happen to this bag?

Oh wow, I was just about to post a thread on this cos I searched thru yesterday and found no thread on this topic. I love this bag. Do you know if this bag is on sale and the price?

Am considering either the metallic, white or pink. I think if you like it, get it! Have not seen it IRL yet tho.

I would say it will eventually get there, but I have a feeling it's going to be a while since it was so popular. You might be able to find one if it is a return though.

babevivtan- I think (not sure though) the metallic is brand new for this season, and I think it isn't being sold at all stores, so I doubt it'll be on sale anytime soon.

I have LOVED the shape of these bags ever since I first saw them (I guess it was love at first sight! haha) and when I saw the silver metallic I fell even more in love.

Does anyone know if the metallic is limited edition or anything? Would it be hard to find once they're sold out?

What's a girl to do but dream? haha. And I'm so glad I have all you ladies to talk to, a lot of people just don't understand my handbag obsession! :)

Oh, and babevivtan- metallic, white, and pink are all awesome color choices, too! Of course I love the metallic, white is classic and goes with a lot of different colors, and pink (especially hot pink) is my favorite color!
What do you think you are going to do? Just buy the bag retail, or hold out?

Both of these items are new in the boutiques, or not even released yet. I don't think the metallic is a limited release. The pleated satchel has been selling like hot cakes, so I wouldn't hold your breath about expecting to see it in the outlet. If they were ever to end up in an outlet it won't be for a while.
