My Bleecker's have a new sibling, lol!

I have been wearing my black one whenever I go out and I love the rose but I really wanted another neutral color, too. So I kept calling JAX and I was told they had 1 in the system but couldn't sell it to me, don't know why. So I kept calling back until I got someone who would sell it. He said he couldn't guarantee I would get it since it said there was only 1 left but it came today, my british tan bleecker flap!!

If they couldn't sell what in the world were they going to do with it? Maybe it was slated for an outlet store? Strange. I'm glad you finally got it!

From what I understand they have a special order process if there are less than 5 of an item in the system. With only one, there is probably too great of a likelihood that it may have already been sold or be a system error, so they would rather tell a customer no than offer it to them and have to retract it later.

Can't go wrong w/ British Tan!

A bag I was looking for once was also the "last" one in their system.
They told me the same - they'd take the order, but not guranantee it'd really be in stock to package/send.
I ended up buying from the bay since Coach would have charged me the full price even though the bag was at the outlets since forever.

Babidius--I need help with the color.

I called two outlets--one has a black one on hold for me. The other had a "natural" and a "tobacco". Is one of these colors the one you got? She didn't say anything about British tan. I just called back, and asked her to put both the natural and the tobacco on hold. She said the tobacco is a darker, richer color--like coffee with a little cream.

Any insight into the color? Was yours called British tan?

The one I got is British Tan but I bought it full price from JAX but it will be going back becuae I found one on ebay today for half the price. When I was at the outlet I was told they only had white in the system so I don't think there are a lot of other colors so I would scoop them up. I think the tobacco sounds really nice. I remember seeing it in a dark brown on the website months ago, I bet that is the same color. Post pics when you get them!!
