How funny you should say that Bags! My daughter said the exact same thing about it looking very Brightonish! Too funny!

I'm pretty sure the purple one is the carryall, not the hobo.... It is $378 :)

I agree with you about the bag, donnalynn... I'd say try it for a few days and if you don't like the texture any better (so sad about no pleats!), back it goes!

BTW - do you know if the carryall is available now?

If all of these Hamptons bags are textured like that, I guess I wont be getting any of them because I REALLY dont care for the pebbled/textured leather. The contrasting browns is nice, but I dont think its nice enough to make me love the bag. And we get so jaded, oh its only $328, but hey! that alot of money to just feel "eh" about something, right?

And Carley, thanks - yes that a Tiffany charm bracelet. Need to add a few more charms - they come off very easily and I've already lost one!
heheh!! I thought so. Tiffany is my other passion besides coach.

Love the contrasting colors, and I happen to love pebbled leather so that's a plus. But the shape is ordinary, and old somehow. That leather combo would probably be gorgeous in a satchel.

Hmmmmmm i love the belt and the contrasting leathers.. I rarely like textured leather though and it does seem a bit boxy. It looks good on you though... you have to love it to keep it though!

I'm not loving it. I'm not a pebbled leather lover at all, but I don't think I would spend the $$ on it, sorry..

Thanks again everyone. I usually know immediately if its going to be a keeper or not, and I've learned that I dont really "grow" to love something. This bag does have some good features, but not enough for me to keep it. It'll go back next week for a credit and hopefully something from more of the fall stuff will catch my eye!

I think your initial reaction has the most impact here. That's what matters most! I think the bag looks great on you, and I love the bag, but it would look a lot better if the strap was thicker I think. I love the color of the lining though. But if you weren't wowed right away, I think you should get something you really love!
