Hey everyone! I am in need of some opinions! So I hope you are all feeling opinionated!

O.K. So I bought this beautiful little piece back in May... or maybe late April... let me check... yes... mid May. And normally I only buy pieces that have a specific purpose for me, but I have ALWAYS loved the Hampton Weekend Patchwork line, (my only gripe is the random flower patch??)

ANYWAY... I fell in love with it, and I orignally intended on using it for pens, because I am ANTI having pens in my bags, and I thought this would be a great solution. Well, it's a little too big for pens and my heart would break if it became stained with ink... and it's too big for my camera so i can't use it for that like I can my wristlets... So I don't really have a use for it, and it has been sitting on my Coach table for about a month now not getting used.

I am thinking about getting rid of it, and I am having second thoughts since I usually keep everything I buy.

Well, my nearest COACH store is about 45-50 minutes away... and with gas being $4.11 a gallon, it would defeat of the purpose of driving all the way to return it, I would exchange, but I want to wait to do any shopping until I go to Chicago in July...

I thought about selling it on eBay, but the Hampton's Weekend Patchwork never seems to do really well as far as resale value goes... but I do have the original tag and reciept...

And my last option would be to just keep it and find a use for it in the future... but for what?

Hmm... why not take it with you to exchange for something else in on your trip to Chicago in July? You have no time limit for returns or exchanges if you have not used it and you have the receipt so it should not be a problem.

Yeah sunglasses would... but they already have the Coach sunglass case

receipts and random papers so they dont get lost or crumpled inside your bag. random office supply stuff, i use a wristlet for my cell phone charger and Ipod with headphones and random small electronics. as for pens I always put them in a ziploc bag and then in my wristlet.

I love this pattern. I have the swingpack, mini skinny and multi-function wallet. How about for emergency supplies like band-aids, aspirin, tums, hand lotion? As I recall, you carry large bags/totes, so it should fit, right?
I have seen this IRL, but can't remember how large it is. The sunnies idea ^^^ might be good.

I am anal about my pens in my bag, too. I keep mine in a plastic sleeve that came on a pen my dad gave me once. You could put them in a baggie and then in this beauty?
Or get one of those plastic things that some guys wear in their shirt pocket to put their pens in and put it in there?
Just brainstorming............
I think if you love it, keep it and you will find a use for it.

Aww! I love it, it's so cute! I like dragonette's solution--glasses or sunnies? Maybe w/ your sunglasses/glasses, you could also but some eye drops in there and your contacts/contact solution if you use contacts. It would also be nice to have when you travel to take essentials in. But if you don't feel that you love it, Taralindsey's idea is good--just keep your receipt and all that and exchange it when you go Chicago

I really like your idea as a first aid kit... I don't really need anything like that though... but I do carry large bags and totes, so it does fit... hmm...

Well, I haven't bought one lately, but it wouldn't surprise me if my dad has a couple somewhere!

if you travel or go to the gym, you could use it as a mini-toiletries pouch for travel-sized bottles?

Well, since you do carry a tote, you could always do what I do. I have a little pouch like that in sig. and I use it to put my money, cards, receipts, a comb, and all that. I'm sure you have a wallet already that you wouldn't want to part with though too. I use mine as a wallet because I don't have an actual wallet from Coach *yet* ...lol.
