Default I thought I lost my sunnies forever!!!

So today I went to the RR at work. I hung my Luci sunnies on the back of the stall (where you'd hang your bag...) I do this ALL the time, but whoa, I left them there!

An hour went by before I realized what I had done! I went RUNNING to the bathroom, and SURE ENOUGH...they were GONE!

I panicked. Big time.

I went running to the security desk and asked my security guard friend if someone had brought up a pair of sunnies...sure enough, HE HAD 'EM!!!

The cleaning lady found them and took them to lost and found! Honestly, I was not expecting that at all!!!

So I hunted her down and said "THANK YOU!!!!!!"

Whoa.

That was a close one!

Yay for that cleaning lady! I hope karma is good right back to her! Glad you didnt wind up losing them - Id totally cry if I lost my sunglasses.

I recently gave myself a serious black eye by letting the metal hook thingy from my puppys outside leash whack me in the eye, and the first thing I thought of as my eye swelled to the size of a golfball is "thank goodness I wasnt wearing my sunglasses - they would have broke into a million pieces!" My husband was like "um, if you were wearing them you'd be fine right now" but no, my beloved glasses would have been broken!

omg! that reminds me of the time that I left mine in my DB bag... I put the bag in it's dustbag... and a week later I was flipping out thinking I left them somewhere! But sure enough, they were in the bag under all the stuffing paper

Glad the cleaning lady was honest sunny! Close call!

...but why were you wearing them in the bathroom? was the flourescent lighting that bad?!?! lol

So glad you got them back! The same scenario happened with my niece the other night, only it was her cell phone. She left it in the bathroom stall and the cleaning lady brought it to lost & found an hour later. So thankful for honest people, huh? I lost my prescription sunglasses in the Snake River in Idaho when I laid them on the rock beside me because DH was taking my picture and my friend didn't see them and knocked them into the river accidentally! They were irretrievable. We all need to be careful where we lay our nice things.

I am glad you got your sunnies back. It is good to know there are still honest people out there that will turn stuff in when they find something. Good karma is on its way to the cleaning lady.
