I LOVE the XL Heritage Satchel in Berry but...

....I'm thinking about how often I can wear it. *sigh* I really like the look of it and am so close to purchasing it on Friday, but I feel like I'm going to do a repeat of what I did when the 1st satchels came out earlier this year. I bought the original one in brown, kept it for a few days and then returned it because it was too big and had those darn cloth handles.

The color combo is so pretty and I think it can be a versatile bag when worn with neutral clothing. It seems easy to wipe down in case something spills on it and so I'm thinking this would make a good travel bag when DH and I take our 2-year old on a "stay-cation" at the end of the summer.

I think it's an eye-catching bag with the signature print, brass hardware, and berry stripes/leather--and I think these are all good things for the bag.

But do you think it's too loud? Maybe it has got too much going on? I wish they also made the small heritage satchel in the large size without the leather bands down the front. That would be the perfect signature satchel for me.

I don't think that it is too loud. I love it, and the size is great. But if the handles bothered you before you should really consider that with your purchase. I personally prefer those type of handles. I don't wear bags on my shoulder.

Love it.
Not too loud.
Maybe just a tad too big.
But, I like the extra straps/buckles on it over the size down.
Go for it.

I bought this one already! I have a 2 year old myself and this bag is the perfect travel/everyday bag for me. I end up carrying a lot and we are always going out of town on the weekends, it is very roomy. The handles are all-leather now, no more cloth and as for it being loud... it's eye-catching yes, but I don't find it loud. I kind said the same thing about the smaller satchel, wishing it had the same details, but then I thought, would it be too small? This bag meets my needs perfectly (and I am used and prefer to carrying smaller handbags) especially being easily maintainable. I say go for it! You won't be disappointed!
