I might have missed this in the thread but how do you keep the canvas clean? I love that canvas carly but does anyone think it would be a nightmare to keep nice looking?

I have a slouchy Chelsea with a tiny penmark. What do I use?

Okay, I think I got the stain out rather quickly. You can clean it with mink oil. So, I decided to use hairspray for the penmark and might use mink oil later for lustre.

Does anyone know if you can use the coach cleaner on a Carly. I read that it is a different material than the classic sig. fabric. I think I am going to get the khaki/beet Carly, and I am afraid of the khaki color getting dirty.

Really? That's good! For some reason, I was thinking I read somewhere that it was different on the carly than other bags, but maybe they were talking about the choc/white background bag, which is cotton, so that could have been what they were talking about.

Well, thanks! Then I will order some cleaner w/ which ever bag I decide on!

I noticed today that my Whiskey Legacy shoulder bag is a little dusty. The cleaning info that came with it said not to use the Coach cleaner or conditioner.
So how should I clean it???

I was tormented with the same problem when I bought my white and rose Legacy bags. A lot of women on here recommended the Apple leather conditioner on leatherstuff.com. They said they used that conditioner (not the cleaner) on their bags and their bags remain beautiful. So I bought it, used it, and nothing has happened to my bags - no discoloration or anything.

^^^You know what? I emailed Coach customer service and someone got back to me right away with the answer to my question. I asked about using the signature cleaner on the carly. She emailed me back right away. I would suggest asking cust. service! They are really great!

Customer service wouldn't be any help probably since they recommend you don't use ANY type of moisturizer or conditioner on the Legacy leathers... but I'm sure they could help with the "regular" Coach leathers.

This has been a helpful thread...I have a white Hamptons small tote that's gotten dirty over time. I've been able to clean most of the fabric, but it's the white trim on the handles that have stayed dirty. Any tips on cleaning that? TIA!! :) Memo to self, DON'T get a white bag again!

Do you know what always helps and I SWEAR by them??? Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They take anything out of everything!!! They have worked on my bags before.
