Ladies, today I was at the store and I saw a girl carrying what looked like a hippie-type "mail bag" cross-body. I thought that would be fabulous in leather if I could find such a thing, and LO, I discover the Delphine. But I would prefer a different color than tan or winter white because I have the large Ergo totes in vachetta and white and they are too similar.

Does anyone know if the grey color will be available? Or where I can find a black one? I need it in regular leather...no patent or metallic as this will be a "staple" bag. Thanks for your help!

I wrote to the "contact us" on the Coach site and they told me they "currently have tan and white available." Thanks, that's helpful. NOT. Yes, I SAW that part already...and it was not the question I even asked! I wanted to know if other colors are coming out for fall. I don't know why they even have that web response system since they are almost never helpful at all. I will try calling the boutique.

If anyone here knows anything about upcoming colors, upcoming discontinuations, or colors I have missed and might be able to find at JAX or watch for on eBay, please chime in!

Also, feel free to post pics of your Delphines and Sophies here! I have not seen many on the Delphine threads I searched.

You're right! Web response systems suck. That's why I always call. You would think they would do a little research before they give the little scripted responses.

You should try calling JAX, they would know better. I called them about the leather Sophie a couple of weeks ago, and it was available in black, white, tan and crimson. The latter two colors are not on the website yet.

Well, I guess it is not meant to be. JAX has nothing and Coach won't take special orders. My options are the LE green (the light olive color), the tan or the winter white. I don't think winter white will look "right" with my winter stuff, which leaves the LE green or the tan. I like the size of the LE version but I am not very sure about the color. Ugh! Why could I not have seen this when it first came out!
