Heart Locket Keyfob in pink... not really pink?

So I've been eying this:

for a while, it's so pretty! I went to the Coach boutique and to Dillards and only one of them had it... and it was looking more purple-ish, definitely not pink.

So is it more purple than pink, or is this picture true to color? Should I order online (it says silver/pink) or will it end up looking purple?

I walked out of the mall empty handed, I'm so surprised - but they didn't have my legacy sig scarf that I wanted either. Tragic day!

I found this pic off eBay... it says fuchsia but I still think it looks more purple-pink:

I saw it yesterday IRL and its definately more of a berry color. And its not just the heart...the koala is way different IRL too. They are getting lazy or something. But the pics on the website are becoming more and more different than the actual product.

Yeah that's right, the koala is definitely different from the website. But I could've sworn that someone on the boards bought that keyfob and took a pic and it came out looking more pink... hmmm.

Otherwise I might have just killed something off my wishlist, which is good! Then again, I think I want this instead (which is harder to come by):

Its really getting annoying how the colors differ from the website/in-store books to the actual products. That mahogany hobo I returned was SO not mahogany it wasnt even funny!!!

Same thing with the Koala keychain. Its not black IRL, its grey.

Which is kinda funny because I didn't want the Koala keychain until I saw it IRL. When I saw it on the website, I didn't like the color of it and didn't want it. But then I saw it in the store and it looked so much better!

It's my shirt reflecting off of it...

But it is def NOT pink, it is more purple, that's why I bought it, because it matches with all my purple accessories. And the koala as well is a different shade. I got him today and he is gray. I don't know what's going on, but if you're thinking it's going to be a pretty bright pink it's not, it's purple!

I have that keyfob and I LOVE it. I got it at the Round Rock outlet several months ago

Yeah, I was hoping for a splash of pink against my Madeline but I guess this accessory won't be it. Bummer. :(

Oh yeah? I wonder if they have any more... the ones on eBay are pretty pricey... though the drive up to Round Rock for me might end up equaling the same cost.

I bought it at the outlet for about $20. I can't remember exactly when we went, but I think it was at the end of March or April.

Maybe they can charge/send?

I think that would end up being full price plus shipping though... and in that case, it might even be cheaper going to eBay.

Oh well. Maybe they'll come out with a new pink heart locket around valentine's day... I'll save up for one then! :)

It's so disappointing that Coach couldn't get the colors right anymore. The Embossed Heart Keyfob is a lot darker too. I think it's still pink, but much, much darker. It was cute though, but not for me.
