I went to an Auction today (it's only part auction the rest is stuff that is out in bins, etc.) and while looking through the handbags came across a fake Ali. It had a turn lock but it was a magnetic closure, the turn lock was just for show, but there was no mistaking the shape. Saw a Goach too.

Nope not weird at all, my husband thinks it is odd that I make a game of it with my 16 year old daughter, she can now spot them almost as fast as me, and she has the Coach hotline number programed into her phone to call if we see fakes and they are at a store or such. I HATE when they lie to someone that does not know better and makes them think theirs are authentic and they are not!

My babysitter has a faux version of my Carly and actually believes it's real - she bought it from a friend who is selling them as authentic. She knows I love Coach and offered to pick one up for me if there was one I wanted. I didn't have the heart to tell her it wasn't real and had to very gently decline her offer to get me one. I know I should have....I'm thinking I may just get her a real one for Christmas and let her figure it out herself.
