ok, i just joined and have a concern. i bought a hamptons madeline optic with tan leather last week at a coach outlet, and it does not look like others i have seen surfing...so, do the coach outlets have bags that are designed just for the outlets and are not sold at regular department stores or do they sell fakes?! I'm not seeing where you say the stripes are not lining up. It looks ok to me. The seller's other items also look ok.

If you mean above the back pocket, that's normal.

It's probably the lighting then because the pink stripe looks orange right next to the inside handle on the right and what appears to be a green stripe at the far right looks blue above the seem (and off a bit too)? On the far left, the purple stripe looke light blue above the seem. If you follow the link, the picture of the front of the bag has similar little discrepencies, but it could be the lighting? I'm nitpicking this bag because it's still a prety low bid and I was interested lol.

I bought mine at the boutique and the lines are not perfectly lined up. HTH
