Hi Bouncin, (what a cute name makes you to type it )

I'm surely no expert either and am still learning so much from all of the wonderful ladies here and also from endless browsing e-bay, outlets, boutiques too since I'm more than a little Coach obsessed!

But on this one I'm very confident the bag listed is OK although the seller didn't do the bag justice in the listing with only one picture and no style number, etc... I did a search on eBay for python hobo and the correct style number came up on other auctions. The auction posted is style no. 10287.

Also, I happen to have a plain brown signature in the small size purchased from the outlet awhile back. These can get confusing since there are a several variations and at least two sizes of this Hobo produced the last couple of years.

Your bag is a bit different as it's the larger size with a signature leather striped strip rather than python.

Hope this helps clear it up! Honestly sometimes even the authentic bags are a little "out there" for my taste and it's very easy to start to second guess them!!
