This PowerSeller xxradiationxx is selling multiple counterfeit COACH handbags on BUY IT NOW. BUYER BEWARE. I have reported the counterfeits but eBay has yet to remove them.

More proof that being a PowerSeller means nothing when it comes to authenticity.

Exactly! I hope more people will educate themselves before trusting sellers on eBay since eBay doesn't care to remove them. eBay makes so much money from these sellers selling counterfeits so they just close their eyes.

I hear you. That's why whether they're MPRS or powerseller, one must ask questions about authenticity.. or more pictures.. I just hate those arrogant sellers boasting about their near perfect feedback.. and refused to send pictures you requested (reason she gave: her pics were being stolen often used for fake items on ebay, then why not watermark your pics?.. how smart yeah?) when seller herself stated in the auction that buyer are welcome to ask for more pictures.., in my opinion, "do what you say" or rather, removed that stupid statement on the auction...

Yes, Powerseller status is no guarantee of honesty or authenticity.
I ran across a seller (and I would dearly love to share her ebay ID but know I cannot) who is a huge powerseller. Currently has over 1400 items listed and sells lots of collectibles and clothing for small amounts. Now she's branching out into high-end handbags and jewelry and doesn't have a clue about the fakes and how to avoid them. She listed some fake LV wallets and when I contacted her and told her they were fake she was offensive and rude, shoving her PS status in my face (I was really nice in my email, not offensive because I could see it was newbie ignorance not deliberate scamming). So I email again (still nice even though she was not) and tried to tell her that buying LV wallets from some random guy in Europe is not legit and his "promises" of authenticity mean nothing. She emails back that I am harrassing her! 2 short emails is NOT harrassing her! So I look at all her auctions and find that the wallets I told her about have all been BIN by some new Ebayer THE SAME EBAYER FOR ALL 3 WALLETS! And then a week later they are relisted! Oh, and she's started carrying fake Tiffany too. I am reporting until I am blue in the face and nothing is happening since she is such a moneymaker for Ebay. |
