Same here. I would NOT buy a $100.00 wallet with a hole in it even after the deep discount. It still has a hole in it. That would drive me crazy! I hate any blemishes on my Coach~esp. new Coach.
I think the market on eBay is going to be flooded with these wallets. And with the holes, ebay fees, and paypal fees I really do not forsee you making a whole lot of money. Of course this is JMO.
At least take them back & talk with TJM and see what they have to say.

I bought the large black and ours was at least bright enough to use one of the looping things through the turnlock hole and then attached the sensor to that. Seeing as though it's that easy...makes you wonder what the others were thinking...probably the stock room guy who could care less.

Oh fields Im so sorry!!! Mine had the sensor thing attached to the plastic loop that was holding the price tag, but I still went to check just to be sure. Mine is fine - its actually in pristine condition so that one must have just arrived. Hmm, not sure how I would feel about bidding on a leather wallet with a hole in it. Granted its a small pinhole, but will it have a tendency to peel or separate from there? Just something for you to think about - I dont want you to get stuck with them. Maybe try to sell one, and if you dont get enough $, then return them.

Mine had it looped through the coin purse part. The guy at the register had a tough time getting it out. I passed on a beautiful pink Versace wallet once because they had very stupidly put the sensor where it left a hole.

It makes me so mad that someone would do that to those wallets. What in the world would compel someone to do that? Such a shame.

I haven't seen any wallets at the TJS near me.. but wow.. I hope not all TJ are stupid enough to put pins right thru precious leather!

I'm so glad you posted this, because I went to TWO TJ's to get my wallets - one black and one white. Luckily, neither one had the sensor stuck in the wallet, they were on the side with a u-shaped metal sensor (no pushpin). Off 5th uses these too, so they don't ruin the bag.

But I did see one in natural that had the sensor in the FRONT! When i mentioned it to the SA, she looked at it, and tossed it back into the basket it was in and said "well, that one's no good".

Mine has the hole but it is inside where the bills go. yes that is dumb and when she was taking it off...I did check to see how bad it was. I can live with it.

I also think you should write corporate and send pics of the holes.
