That is ridiculous!!! I would take them back to TJMaxx and see what they would say...

At my store they were in another spot...they were inside the wallet, all twisted up!!! Still a stupid idea on their behalf!!!

Really stupid thing to do, you should take it back & perhaps they will stop this silly practice!

I assume you mean selling them on eBay. I think if you were honest you would still get some bids. I know that the pin hole would not stop me if the price were right. Especially on a wallet that is generally 218 and up!

Yeah.. that is what I am wondering now.. of course I would be totally up front.. and it is still a great deal. Not sure.. hmmm maybe I will go in and talk to them and see what they say.. I just don't want to end up getting an add'l discount, having them not sell and being stuck with them. I can't get over how dumb people can be.. okay vent over!

Ugh!!! What idiots!!! I just got back from a different TJ Maxx in town and they had the wallet I was looking for, the large gardenia white legacy wallet but it had an ugly rub mark on the corner of it and the leather was worn there so I put it back. It didn't have the pin hole in it though!

Seriously I think they will still sell. I know that a small pinhole like that would not stop me from getting a good deal that's for sure!

It would not keep me from buying the wallet at all TBH. Yes, it might detract a bit from the sale price, but if you can recover 10-15%, that would help! I have sold DB and MK wallets in the past and they didn't take too much of a hit. I think most people don't care because they are inside the bag, and everyone is getting a deal. My suggestion is to see about the discount and then try one on eBay and see how it goes. I'm actually looking for a camel wallet to match my Lily, and if I don't find it at a Maxx here, I'm going to be looking for your auction!!

The real thing that worries me about this is, how many people will be selling them on eBay now without mentioning the hole?

Thanks guys! Yeah after fees and everything I wouldn't be making a lot, but I bought like 5 legacy wallets to help make some mula.. I will call or go over there again tonight and see what they say.. I got a large white, small white, the large camel and 2 large black.. the large black is one that I was thinking of keeping, and on that you can't see it too bad... it's not that noticeable and honestly things will happen.. but it's nice to be the one that does it to our OWN bags, kwim?! Thanks again, I will keep you guys updated! I hope all of you guys get great ones though!

It is stupid, because they had them in the jewerly department and usually "locked up" but they are just trying to stop some people from stealing. I got a super awesome pair of heels and they had a fuc***** hole on them because of the sensor too, I loved them but I still took them back, I was so sad
