Red face Even with all your Coach bags, did you ever feel ....

like you don't have the 'right' one?
I have like 13-14 Coach bags and I want to carry one daily for casual. Not currently working so I don't want to carry something structured. I have the large Ergo belted tote in parchment and my new Hampton black satchel for when I go back to work (hopefully soon!). In the winter/fall, I will go to my Holiday patchwork duffle and my Chelsea tweed hobo.
I have been carrying my Cole Haan orange roll bag every day and LOVE it, but I really love Coach and want to carry one of my Coach bags.
I am considering selling my Legacy shoulder bag in canvas/citron, my scarf print tote that I've never used and got for a steal, my red Brahmin, and a couple other no-brand bags to have money to buy a new Coach bag. I guess it's so hard because I've only been a "Coachie" for about 18 months. I love every bag for a different reason. But if I want a new one, something's gotta go.

Sorry for the rant.
Ever feel this way -- like you have all these bags and just none of them 'feel' right??? Thanks for 'listening'!

Here's some pics of my current collection.

I don't know if I necessarily feel like I don't have the right bag... I think I have a bunch of right bags IMHO... I like having all my bags because then I have variety and I'm not bored... IF I found the "right" bag, then I would wear that particular bag ALL the time... which to me defeats the purpose of buying other bags... I feel like I have a great collection of bags that I'll always end up using... I love my coach, and I think that just goes the same way when you buy a new bag, you get really excited, but after having it for awhile, your always on the hunt for another one... its not necessarily that it wasn't the "right" bag, but I think women in general just like a lot of accessories! I know I do!!

Totally know what you mean. I get so bored with my bags that I often change them or sell them to get new ones. I think my case is more of a boredom rather than trying to find the "perfect" bag.

I know what you mean... I felt like this for a while but now that I have chili carly, I'm good. Sell off the ones you don't use and try out something new that could be perfect!

I feel like I'm always searching for that "one" bag that I feel will be the
"one" that will fit that particular need that I bought it for in the first place. Soon after i receive it, im on the hunt for the next. I'm never satisfied, and i wish i were it never ends...

Its like looking into a closet full of clothes and saying "I have nothing to wear!!" I find when I get like that with my bags, its time to sell a few and get another "new" one to shake things up a bit!

It certainly is the hunt for me that makes bag collecting so fun. I get so excited to get a new bag and then eventually it becomes one of my "old" bags and the newness wears off.

However, I doubt I will ever bother selling on &bay again (too many scary changes over there for sellers IMO), so I am content with the fact that the bags I have are MINE "for better or worse" and maybe I will use them alot or maybe they will stay in storage for months at a time. Either way, when I see another MUST HAVE bag I will just add them to the family!

I totally know what you mean. The only difference is for me I have never had a collection so I feel the pressure of getting that 1 "ultimate bag" which really never is... I have found a few bags here and there that are as perfect as it gets but I can't have one bag that is small when I need small, large when I need large, leather, siggy, light, big, matches everything, etc etc etc. The best bag I ever found was my Large Carly and now my Zoe which I love even more because the size is a bit more manageable and looks a little better imo and the leather really makes me feel great about the fraying on the top. I think most of us can relate though.. the hunt is over half the fun!

I know exactly what you mean. I'm going through the same thing right now. I've been switching between my winter white Francine, bronze/khaki pleated satchel and heritage resort tote for the past month and a half and I still feel like none of them are the "right" bag for everyday use. I bought a black Abbey and I can't wait to use her, but I feel that that's a winter bag, so I'm going to switch to my black Cole Haan bag right now even though I know it won't be too long until I'm bored with that.

That's the feeling I get sometimes!
Problem is, then I search the *bay, Coach.com & dept. store sites to find my new "right" bag. And I usually find one...or two...or
BTW we are phone twins luralee! I need a lanyard like yours though to add to my pink phone, that is too cute! Love your purse collection also.

Thanks all! Guess I need to review the e*ay changes for sellers. My husband has 14 items for sale right now and I was planning to put some on. I don't want to be caught unaware.

Totally - this is why my bag collection has gotten so huge! I'll put on an outfit and look for a bag and go, hmmm, this will work, but what I really need is ________ and then I go and buy that and so the process goes
