Default Ergo 10739- Can I Apple it?

I recently got a small Ergo hobo on eBay and today is Leather Moisturizing Day. I got the Ergo used without care cards and had no idea if I should moisturize it... called JAX and when I asked if I could use conditioner on style number 10739 the CS rep basically said "sure, why not". Since that wasn't exactly a resounding yes I'm asking here: can I use it? Thanks

Also, I live in the desert. It's super hot and super dry all the time. How often do you all who live in super hot super dry climates moisturize? When I bought my leather Carly in NY, the SA said once a month... but it's a more normal climate there.

what color is it? do you know what kind of leather it's made of? if you do you can look at the Care section of the Coach website for what to do w/ specific leathers.
and you could test a spot that's not overly visible.

I ended up going for it and it turned out fine! It's a camel color and it didn't darken or anything, just got softer.

I apple all of my bags, even Legacy ones, and they come out fabulous. The only kind of leather I would question is that vachetta leather. Do you know what type of leather it is? Can you post a picture - maybe we can tell from the pic.
