I have the pewter patent as well.definitely one of the most comfortable bags I've carried. And even though it doesn't have a zipper your stuf still feels very secure. I wouldn't bother trying to open and close the drawstring on the patent though, gets stuck. I just leave it open and use the magnetic snap (which closes on its own most of the time).

I own it in pewter as well. Used it recently as my on board travel bag and loved it. Fit nook, wallet, and ballerina slippers in main compartment. Gum, boarding pass and sun glasses in zip pocket. Love it!

I have the large black one and I love it. I never thought I would like this bag so much and I got it for a steal on ebay.

I have a black leather Marielle, and I love her...I'm actually carrying her right now. Very comfortable to wear, and she really holds a lot. If you find that you're having trouble with all your stuff just pooling up in the bottom of the bag, try a purse organizer. I use a large Purse To Go in mine, and it really helps my stuff stay organized and not get all jumbled up in the bottom.

I have the Marielle in black/brass and bordeaux/brass, and I love them both. If I were to have a criticism, it would be that the long strap is a skooch too short for me. To remedy this, I bought a couple of brass clips from the hardware store and added them to the strap.

Even though the bag is deep, I don't have trouble finding my stuff, and it seems to stay closed fine even if you don't tighten the drawstring all the way.

I have a black/brass one and would LOVE to find one in excellent condition in the bordeaux color! I've been looking everywhere. My black one is so easy to carry and it's really comfortable. Just sling it over your shoulder and go! It's one of my favorite bags.

I have a bronze one and LOVE it, the size, the weight, the feel, everything. The one problem I have found is that the bronze color has faded/worn off/I'm not sure what??? from a few places. I rotate in and out of bags a lot, so it wasn't from use. I was going to take it in and see if it could be repaired, but just never got to. I notice it because I look for it, but it's not noticeable to others, so I will take it out again in the fall and enjoy it!

I went on ebay yesterday to see more pic of Marielle, and I am almost certain there was a bordeaux on there. Good luck in your search!

I have a Bordeaux one and a limited edition gunmetal one. It is a great bag and so comfortable. I like that I have to search or my stuff. That is part of the charm of this bag.

I have a pilot tan embossed marielle that I love!!. It is extremely comfortable and it's easy to get inside. Also, the pocket is very handy. Did I mention that I love this bag?
