Default Does anyone else do this? re: bags and charms
I just put away my camel Thompson top handle (no charm, just the big brass Coach medallion) and took out my black Lily for the weekend. After its all Appled up, I immediately go into my accessories stash for the cherry charm. Not even a second thought about it. When I used my Ink
Thompson hobo this week, it got the blue flower charm that I saw on one of our tPf'ers ink bag. Choc brown ergo tote = yellow sun charm, black Bleecker shopper = koala, etc, etc, - you get the idea. I rarely "mix it up" - most of my bags that wear charms have their own designated charm, and never do I stray! Does anyone else do this, or am I just boring and unoriginal! I do the same w/ponytail scarves - certain ones on certain bags only. No wonder most of my scarves and charms sit in their little dust bags, unused!

I do "mix it up" in regards to the FOB's however I never carry my large black Sabrina OR my gray/black slim Carly without the Skull and X bones FOB. That's the only "rule" I guess I have for myself and my bags! I'm always aggravated though that there are not more FOB's with the brass hardware...but I know this has been discussed time and time again! I just started getting into the scarf end of things and find that the ponytail scarves work best for me because they are easier for me to get a *cuter* bow out of!!!

I tend to change charms/key fobs on mine but usually a certain scarf goes with a certain bag.

I try to mix it up, but sometimes I'm just in too much of a hurry and there's WAY too much to pick from! I think once I have dogleash clips for all of my fobs it will make my life much easier! Hopefully soon, then switching will be quick and simple and I will (hopefully) get more use out of everything!

Like Tyger I was in a hurry and took the owl fob off my whiskey gigi and clipped it to my black ergo. I didn't feel like owl went with the ergo at all but I was in a hurry. I like the koala on my teal francine and nothing else. I like the cherries on my black abbey. I guess when I stop to think about it I am like that, too! I wanna get dog snaps to put on all my fobs someday.
Oh yea, red butterfly fob goes on luci! Yep, I am that way.

I do it a little different. I have different charms for different seasons, but they're only for specific bags. For example, my snowflake only goes on my black bags in the winter, and my sunshine only goes on my khaki sig and brown leather bags in the summer. I have other seasonal/occasion charms too - I'm such a goober, I have seasonal scents for my home and seasonal comforter sets for my bed too!

Most of the fobs and charms I have are on my 10 y/o DD's backpack, that little sneak! Lol! The only one I have been able to keep away from her is the Legacy lip gloss one and that is what goes on ALL my bags...boring, I know, but I just love that charm!

Aww...that's so cute. I probably would do the same thing, but I only have 3 keyfobs, and two I use for my keys, the other--the 'L'--I always but on the zipper of my bags, or on the hangtag if it's an open bag. So I guess I do pretty much have a "method."

I mix it all up and try to coordinate fobs or scarves with whatever I'm wearing that day! We are all different I guess, nothing wrong with that!

All my charms for my bags are in their own jewelry box. I have a mix of Coach and Juicy charms and I alternate them all the time. I am going to try and put all the Coach ones on the dog leash clips in the next few months to make it easier to swap them around, although I don't worry about my Coach purse fobs as much now that I know JAX will replace them with just a phone call if something happens.

I love matching charms or lanyards with my purses. I almost bought a purse the other day at the outlet only because it looked so good with the little apple lanyard that I held up to next to it!

every one of my pouches has its own charm(s)/scarf. this means that i have about 20 charms for my 20 pouch sets now. some of my pouches have more than one charm (2 or 3)! one has a charm and a scarf combined.

they never come off! i store them clipped on, with the charm wrapped in the little white outlet dustbag with the clasp sticking out of it. to prevent any possible colour transfers over a long period of storage. the whole pouch is then stored in dustbag or wrapped in tissue.

and my decision to get each pouch is based on whether i have a good idea of a charm/scarf for it (as well as whether there are matching wristlets and mini skinnies). i am anal like that!

I tend to mix it up, but sometimes certain charms ONLY go on certain bags.
