Difference between Geranium and Vermilion?

Now I am in a quandry. I know what geranium looks like and it's too orangey-red for my taste. Now my mother wants the new bleeker straw bag in vermilion but IMO that is also more of an orange-red if I recall. can anyone weigh in on this issue to help ease my confusion?

they look very close in color, if not the same. weird.

They always bring back the same colors eventually, just under different names.

I think that geranium is more of a true red but vermillion is going to be an orangey red. Although they may actually be the same colors, seems like the same colors have a ton of different names to keep up with!!

I totally agree. I think the only difference between the two is the year in which they came out.

the geranium is def. an orangey red, i have the butterfly key fob in geranium.
