From the little picture swatch in the red book, the teal looked much more blue than green; not turquoise blue like the Francine and darker than any other teals I have seen.

I dig the Signature Collection, as well as all things vintage/retro, but those C's aren't really doing it for me. They're not too bad on that little bag though - I guess I'd have to see more of them to truly know if I disliked them.

That teal bag looks gorgeous, from what I can see of the picture!

I actually kind of like the look of the first bag.... it's sort of funky and artsy. I wouldn't pay Coach prices for it though... more like $25 at some boutique or something!
