I find that unless you stuff your bags, the form gets a little messed being hung up, along with the straps being pulled a certain direction.

No offense, please don't take this seriously, but it looks like something I would see in those god-awful displays at TJ Maxx. Honestly, if you want an "awesome" new way to hang your babies, I highly suggest you go to Bed Bath & Beyond and buy those purse hangers you can hang over your door.

That way your purses can be more organized (or buy those big storage containers that are also on sale there). You can also go on eBay and look for the purse hangers too (and I do mean the ones you can hang over your table, as well).

Either that, or go to IKEA and get those fancy cabinets so you can store your purses in there. That, what you have right there, is kind of... messy. Sorry. I feel like I'm in the store shopping for your own purses right in your room! It just doesn't feel right.

^^^ I know you weren't really being rude, but your tone is a little harsh...

anywho...I tried the over the door hanger but that just didn't work. Not enough space for all my bags, especially the boston shape...Ikea was the first place I looked but they didn't have anything...I have already fixed the bags so there isn't so the straps aren't being pulled...

I really like this design because I can just turn the rack and find what I want...I may just keep the small purses on the rack and get rid of the totes because they take up more space

For me it wouldn't work because all my bags would get hairy, LOL! I have pets and if I don't keep my bags put away behind closed doors the hair just seems to float around and cling to them.. Also I would be concerned about having them hang for long periods.. in case the straps took an odd shape.. but you said you already fixed them to prevent it.

and secondly, the rack does look a lil messy, yeah i cant hang my stuffs like that for fear of my cats clawing it around, but whatever that works for u, i guess its fine..

here is why I wouldn't hang mine like this. You may find that the handles are stretched because of the hanging.

However, short term I do hang mine on a coat rack for the same effect if I am switching between a few for the week.

I think it's great that you are able to look at all your purses at one glance. I usually keep my purses in the dustbag and in the box so sometimes, it's easy to forget what you have.

Ditto!! I have seen this happen even at places like TJ Maxx. I usually store mine fully packed in dust bags, out of light, and organized on shelves. Admittedly, this takes up a ton of room, though...I think I have 3 closets plus a large armoire filled!

I always ask for a box when I buy a bag and then I stack all my boxes in my closet. I write what bag is in the box on the outside with a permanent marker.

Another idea is to take a picture of the bag and tape it to the side of the box. Instant recognition, no reading needed! Easy for my middle age brain.

That's how mine are stored. It takes a little extra time to get them out and put them away but my house if too full of dust and pet hair to leave my bags out in the open.
