Default Woodbury, NY versus Clinton, CT outlet

I live about an hour from Clinton and an hour and a half from Woodbury. I was at Woodbury for the first time recently and was amazed at how much more crowded it was (with a line to get into the Coach store!). They do seem to have a lot more merchandise though.

For those of you who live where I do, do you think it's worth the extra drive (and parking difficulties) to go to Woodbury?

Thanks!!

Last month the Clinton outlet expanded the store. It is now at the other end of the center near Off 5th. I think that it is a lot better and had a ton of signature stuff. I used to think that it was really small and did not have the best stuff, now it is much better. I would give Clinton a try. However my favorite is in Lee, MA.

Woodbury gets tons of tourists from NYC. At times it's so crowded I find it unshoppable, not to mention the disorder of merchandise from all the people picking apart the displays.

I've only been to Woodbury, but I go often. If you go during the week early in the day it's not crowed and you don't have to wait. The staff there are really nice. I tend to go mid week giving them a bit of time to restock after the weekends.

If you can make it up to Lee, MA they have a great selection but Wrentham always runs out of selections to choose from

i refuse to wait in a line to go in a store, so woodbury would get a thumbs down from me. i'm glad to hear clinton has expanded their store, i would head there more often, but overall i like the variety of stores at woodbury better.

You must be very near me! I am almost exactly the same distances from both outlets and Lee is in between time/distance wise :)

I am very happy to know that Clinton has expanded; I'd stopped going because I thought the store was too small & selection iffy. Hmmm.... maybe a quick afternoon trip to see if they've restocked after the weekend? It's only an hour away!

I second the vote for the outlet in Lee - it's such a pretty drive and a nice sized store with nice SA's.

Woodbury is HUGE, but just too crazy on the weekends. I actually took the afternoon off a while back and went up on a Tuesday around lunch time. The difference was amazing - almost no-one in the store and the SA's were all wonderful because they weren't crushed with people!
