When you buy a wallet from the outlets or a boutique are

Are the tags attached to the wallet? Or is the price tag supposed to be slipped in one of the slots?

Mine have always been slipped in a pocket/coin area or slots.

Yep, they are usually tucked into the pocket somewhere inside. I have never actually seen one attached.
