When is the best time to go to the outlets?

I want to go to my local (Santa Fe, NM) outlet soon. But the last time I've gone it's been mostly factory bags and while I like some of those bags, I'm going to the outlet to scope out stuff that's moved on from the boutique. I know the new boutique floorset is Friday... so when would be the best chance at from-boutique stuff in the outlet? I don't want to make the hourlong drive to stare at the same stuff they've had the last two times. Also, there's no boutique in the state of New Mexico. It's either Far Dillard's or Close Dillard's for me, and the selection at both of those Dillard's kinda sucks.

I would just call the outlet and ask them when they get in new shipments, I called mine last week to ask about a bag and the salesperson was really nice and basically told me everything they had just gotten in. I usually go early in the morning if I go on a weekend so I can get in and out.

Give them a call before you go - the outlets are usually good about telling you what they have especially if they've gotten a bunch of new stuff in.

I just called mine (Houston outlet) but the SA that answered the phone wasn't too helpful...she said she didn't know-"they just come in whenever."

So, I'll call again later and hopefully a knowledgeable SA will answer the phone!

The outlets are usually pretty good about getting the new stuff on the floor as soon as it gets in. I called a while ago about a Choc Carly for a friend of mine, she said it just came in and was literally unpacking it to tell me the price while I was on the phone with her.

There was once I was at the outlets with a girlfriend before it opened (we wanted to beat traffic) so we sat at the Starbucks, enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and hit the Coach store as soon as it opened.

That was my best shopping experience yet at a Coach outlet, there was hardly anyone in the store, the shelves were newly restocked and I bought so much, the SAs were helping me carrying stuff to put on the counters. I had so much fun that day!!

I just called my outlet and the SA girl acted kinda "hush-hush" about what's new, wouldn't tell me. Finally she said that a black leather Carly is in the back room, not brought out yet. I wish the SAs that I got on the phone were as helpful as the ones I read about in this thread.
