Thanks everyone.

I know we will have friends visit (we can't get rid of tbem now) and my mom is offering (threatening) to come stay for awhile :)

I was just upset earleir and couldn't really tell hubby I hated him (well, not really him but his choice) since he is so excited.

I will make do and hell I have so many miles is my account I could fly to Texas once a month for a year.

Thanks for the support ladies, I really appreciate it.

I've lived in Colorado and I LOVE Boulder. Pearl Street is fun for shopping. I can't remember if there's Coach on Pearl (I doubt it) but its fun anyway. Boulder is also close to Flatirons Crossing in Bloomfield, which is a really nice mall. There are outlets in Castle Rock and Loveland, and there's tons of shopping in Denver, which is about 30 minutes away. Estes Park is about 45 minutes away, and is really pretty. I miss Colorado. Its gorgeous. I'm actually moving to Texas, and if it wasn't for family, I'd trade with you. I'd personally rather move to Boulder than Dallas.

I live in Arvada. I think I'd rather live up in your neck of the woods, though!

I REALLY wanted MD. I have a college buddy in Laurel and it would be easier for me to visit my grandparents in CT as well as do some GREAT shopping in NYC, Lancaster, Philly, ETC...

Now that I am going to CO, where I know no one, I am beyond depressed.

So, my question for the CO coachies, is Boulder close to any outlets for retail therapy? What is the boutique situation?

For everyone else, I get a vacation out of this! I want to go somewhere fabulous (since I will likely not get another one with hubby for 2-3 more years). I am thinking HI, but if I want to shop I refuse to pay the 20% upsale. Maybe back to Puerto Rico (I enjoyed it before)

So, if we are planning to go in NOV, where would you go? [Any other GOOD destinations with Coach shopping????]

Thanks for listening...
Hey coachfreak - Please don't be sad. I know change is difficult sometimes. Boulder is a really friendly town. You'll make friends there quickly. You'll always have us on tpf!

I'm so sorry to hear you have to move. Moving is a big drag, especially when it is to a place you hadn't hoped for.

So a fabulous vacation? When I first read that, I thought Paris! London! Australia! OK, no Coach at the first two though (well, on coach.com, the store finder shows that London Heathrow has a store. Woo hoo! Shopping at the airport! However, Heathrow really does have some amazing shops!) And then there were some stores listed in Australia - Coach Queen Victoria Building in Sydney?!?! Now if it were me, Coach mecca would be New York City! Ha ha, I know, I'm probably not helping you, am I?!?! I liked the idea about San Francisco, and love the idea about Hawaii (except for the mark-up)! OK, what about Japan? You could see some amazing product that we never see here! I know, I know, that mark-up for us is crazy ridiculous!!! But I could see that being a crazy fabulous vacation, too!!! All right, maybe I should stop my brainstorming here, but maybe you got a laugh out of these possibilities, too! Tell us what you decide to do!

Awh sweetie, I'm sorry you're disappointed about the move. Colorado is TRULY beautiful though! I moved to CO from Wisconsin two years ago and I'm not sure I could ever move back! Boulder is very liberal and can be unique but it's gorgeous and you're very close to lots of things!!!

Hawaii is an amazing vacation spot and even if you don't get a "shopping vacation" out of the trip it is one of the best places I have ever been and would love to go back! Good luck with your decisions and I hope you have a safe move!

I am going to Greece/Cyprus in Dec but that is a girls trip, so no hubby.

You would have to meet hubby, but going transatlantic is likely not possible. He swears WE will go back to Cyprus next summer, but I will believe it when I see it. I am even pushing it if I force him to go to an island, but I figure now I have the leverage to force it.

We went to San Fran in '05 and loved it, then to Monterrey this year but he was working too much. Maybe we will go back to the peninsula and I can go outlet shopping again and maybe he can get a tee time at Pebble Beach.
