Invasion of Gigis!!

Hi!! I'm new to TPF.. actually I usually just lurk! My outlet didn't have any Gigi's

.. So what do you ladies think would be a good price to pay on *bay? Most on there are still priced way below retail?!?

I was just perusing the gigis on eBay, and this one kind of confused me.. Does it look dirty to anyone else, and why is the tag on the inside.. Aren't they ususally on the right handle?

Boutique bags that go to the outlet don't always have "outlet tags". Tags can be on the outside or on the inside - I've bought bags where they are on the inside before. That camel leather on the Gigi scratches up easily so it might just be a bit scuffed up - not unusual for an outlet ba. You should get this authenticated though - post in the "Authenticate This" thread on this forum and the ladies there can help you!

Wow, I just looked at eBay, and they have almost 50 gigis for sale! Most of them are black bags..... and not too discounted.

With everyone telling of their Gigi, Legacy & Leigh buys at the outlets..and what they paid for them...I was amazed to see what people were listing (& trying) to sell them for on eBay!! I thought I read somewhere that someone grabbed 2 Leighs & only paid $70 EACH for them?
Maybe in a month or so when people realize they aren't getting retail (or the high reserves) they will lower the price...

I did a search on Legacy and came up with over 500 bags! I'm still hoping I can score a Whiskey or Walnut shoulder flap for less than $200, especially since I know people got them for $100!

I would think that sellers would wait to sell them..they are drowning out the market right now. Wait a month and then try & sell them. Probably get much more for it as there are too many listed right now on eBay.
