For the IOWA gals!!!

Hi to all from Iowa. I thought i would make a thread so we can share what is at the outlets when we go to help each other out. I hope to be of help to all you.

I was just thinking of starting one of these! Has anyone been to the outlet lately? I was thinking of driving up this weekend, but I got a little too crazy last night I am really really looking for a mens embossed wallet = if you see one PLEASE PM me.

umm i was there back in April. They were just getting in the Heritage Stripe stuff. Still had tons of Carly's. Still had some soho stuff. Had quite a few scarfs and fobs. Had Zoe Patent Zip around wallets. My small madison wallets. Lots n lots of differant mini skinnys. I know they had quite a few mens wallets but dont know if they have the one your looking for. Hope that helps.

I will hopefully be going up there soon. GAH! I wish we had someone who lived in Williamsburg. I'm in WDM and it's such a drive for one store.

I've got about a 98% chance of making it up there on Monday, I assume you're talking about Willaimsburg?! I also hit the Aurora Premium Coach store too sometimes, it's only about 20-30 extra minutes of drive time either way for me. I'll be hitting Williamsburg soon though, I have a FOB, a bag and maybe a cosmetic case to return, plus I have credit still, so I hope they have some goodies that I can really do some damage with!!!! LOL

I'm in the Quad Cities, right along the Mississippi River so IC/Willamsburg is about 1 1/2 hour drive and Aurora is maybe an just inder 2 hours.

***I scored the grey/silver Julianne there (Williamsburg) last Monday. You may or may not have seen my reveal, she had a small scratch on the inside of one of the hand handles so she was only $220+ tax, and otherwise in perfect condition!!!***

Let's keep this current, I'll round up the other few gals I have met here and have them keep it posted too!!

I THOUGHT it was an Iowa girl who got that amazing Julianne! I'm SO jealous.

I am also thinking of driving up tomorrow. It's either the 2 hour drive to Williamsburg for just Coach or the 2 hour drive to Omaha for the Zoo/Urban Outfitters/American Apparel.

I'm jealous you live in the Quad Cities = SO CLOSE to Chicago. Chi-town is a full 6 hours from West Des Moines. I've seen Britney Spears in concert in the Quad ;-)

^^^ I'm 99% sure I'm going tomorrow!!! Let me know what you decide on, maybe we could meet up at the store and shop/drool together!!! I'll most likely leave my house around noon or so, which put's me there about 1:30 ish. PM me if you'd like to meet up!!! I also have to return my E. Armani watch to the Fossil outlet next door to Coach because I've had it exactly 1 week tomorrow and it's NOT keeping time. Also it was a monday that I found Julianne on, so Mon is my new FAV day to shop the outlet!!!

I'm leaving for the outlet @ approx 10am, I should be there by 11:30-11:45. I'll be wearing brown capri's with a brown V neck tank top with gold flecks in it and gold leather sandal's. I'll be carrying either a white leather Daphne OR my grey/silver Julianne. If anyone there see's me SAY HELLO!!!

I see I'm about the only one who's been posting here this weekend. I'll just update by question and answer (or a whole run-down if I have the time later.) In general NOTHING SPECIAL like last Monday's trip!!! I did buy a gorgeous all leather pink bag, but not the patent gallery tote. I don't know what it was about that tote that made it seem plain, sad and somewhat generic!! *SORRY to those who like them!!!*

Aww, that sucks, I was really wanting to check out the Pink Patent gallery tote but, my taste in bags is WAYYY to similar to yours so, I'm sure I probably wouldn't care too much for it either. I Did see your post in that other thread about your new pink bag and I REALLY like the style of that bag. I can't wait to see pics!!

BTW, Thanks Limelady for starting an Iowa thread. We were just saying that we needed one. I didn't realize there were this many Tpfers from Iowa.
Anyway, I'm Tonya, I'm a SAHM so, I don't get to make the 1.5 hour trip to the outlet too much but, I will definately report back anytime I do make the trip.

Ah! I hadn't checked this thread before I left this morning, but I also made my way up there this afternoon. There wasn't much to be found...
Obviously everything Leah was there. EVERYTHING. Beyond that a few scattered Madison wallets and I saw one $700 signature white/goldish bag. I think it was from the Cricket line? I don't know for sure, I just glanced at it. It was only an additional 20% off.

I LOVE the HUGE beach tote bags (especially the green) but I just can't justify the cost of $167 for an ALL fabric bag that I'd barely use.

As for that embossed wallet = not there. :-/

I saw the gold bag that you are talking about that was near $700 w/ the 20% OFF, I think it was some type of spectator bag...I can't place it but I DO remember seeing it on Coach.com. There was NOT much to be found, I did also pick up one of the cute little mirrors that slide into a case. I got the khaki/pink patent trim, I've wanted one for awhile. I did pick up the pink Hamptons satchel, I thought the price was good for an all leather bag of that size and I have ALOT of accessories that will go with it.

I'll post pic's here. I liked the opart pink/white Leah but they only had the large and although it was comfortable I thought it made me look like the broad side of a barn!!! I've never felt that a bag made me look FAT (ER) then I am but this one did!!!!

Did you see the larger travel bags with the pink/gold combo and "new C's" - they were so cute! I wanted one but I'm not much for Coach bags (just wallet, accessories, etc)
