For the IOWA gals!!!

I won't be getting one of the tpf charms...I think. I'm kinda boring when it comes to accessorizing my bags and such and I have yet to buy a charm, fob or scarf! Plus the kids I work with and cats would have too much fun with them.

I went on Friday after work and the SAs I was talking to said they will have 300 boxes to open when they move back into their old location!! They said they wouldn't have very much new stuff but possibly more Parker stuff! I'm definitely going to get something Parker, just haven't decided yet. I'm hoping they will be getting some Hippies in!

Oh and I'm game for a meet-up there. I live less than a half hour away so as long as it's after 6pm during the week or on the weekend, I can go whenever.

Oh just wanted to let ya'll know I'm a big fat liar. I finally broke down and bought not one but TWO of the PF charms!! I've been thinking about it off and on ever since D came up with them but thought they seemed too "girly" for me. Yeah and now I'm eating my words.

So whenever we have some get together I'll have one hanging from my purse!

Let's try and do an early FALL meet-up!!! This will give us all time to save money aside (I know I'm gonna wanna spend BIG.) This way we can also be pretty worry free on weather!!!

I'll throw a date out right now!!

Who's UP for Sunday Sept. the 5th at 11:00 am??? We can browse the Coach store, then do lunch at Subway or Arby's???

It takes me an hour and about 20 minutes to get there, and it's SUPER BOREING if you get there at opening on Sunday, I've done it and there was NO EXCITEMENT!!!

***I'd also be happy to communicate w/ a few of the SA's and the mngr. to let them know that we are planning this, maybe they can make sure and have an extra SA to help us out and bring us goodies from the back!!!

I went to the NEW & IMPROVED location today! OH MY GOSH LADIES, YOU'RE IN LUCK

The outlet is HUGE, the only one I can compare it to is the Cabazon outlets south of Los Angeles. The store is probably 2x the original size. Everything is clean and pristine.

When I went today I didn't see any/much Parker stuff, however, I did see 2 tan Sabrinas, a blue iKat Sabrina, and a light purple Julianne. All were 30% off outlet price.

They also had a variety of clearance, etc. items. The store is put together flawlessly and I LOVE it.


Too bad I'm moving to Florida this month :-(

How often do you get to the outlet?? Once or twice a month, it depends on the coupons!
What's your favorite thing about coach?? I love the leather purses! I love that Coach comes up with different stuff all the time even though I'm not in love with the Bonnie/Poppy lines.

I went to the outlet today as well! I love how big the new store is. There were steel and pink (? not sure what the official color is) Juliannes and the large sand and blue ikat Sabrinas. Some of the Parker flaps in various colors as well as the brick-looking shoulder Parker bags. They had some violet shoulder Parkers as well (the ones with the turnlocks on the sides).

Some older stuff like the Madison swingpacks and the Amanda capacity wristlets. They had one burnt orange Ali flap hobo. Still have numerous Zoes in various colors and sizes. Let me know if you're looking for something specific!

I'm Amanda and live in Davenport, IA. right along the Mississippi. The outlet is about 1 1/3 hour drive for me ea. way. I used to go 2-3 times a month, now about 1 time a month unless something is going on.
I've been collecting and buying COACH for about 2 1/2 maybe 3 years now. I was always a purse girl, so it was natural to move into the designer realm.

I'm 32, no kid's, married 4 years to my DH, we were together for 3 years prior.

The thing I like about COACH is that I'm able to have stylish "designer" bags at a great price, and with outlet pricing and PCE I can have ALOT of them. I also believe that COACH is my choice due to the fact that it's one of the few brands that I have access to other then online shopping. I return and change my mind enough as it is when being able to see them IRL, let alone if I had to go with just pictures online!!!

I'm currently a little "over" COACH, I'm sure it's temporary so I'll DETOX and save up until our meet up!!!

***PS~ There won't be alot of us, there isn't alot of us to begin with let alone the one's who can't make it!!! I'm keeping track do know. I'll make another round of PM's more towards the end of Aug to confirm and maybe we'll have a few new IOWA peep's by then!!!

How often do you get to the outlet?? Not very often. I have 2 kids and they keep me VERY busy. It's hard for me to make the ( almost ) 1.5 hour drive to Williamsburg. I do however, have a merchandise credit that is burning a hole in my pocket and I am going to MAKE myself make time for a trip there sometime this week/weekend.
What's your favorite thing about coach?? Honestly... Everything. I love that it's affordable, I LOVE the quality, The LEATHER!, I love that they have something for everyone, etc. I have tried to make myself buy other brands but, I my mind wont let me accept them..lol. Like, I will be at Tj Maxx or Marshalls and find a really good deal on a cute bag but, I will end up refusing to buy it because, it's not COACH!

Iowa Coachies,

I have a question for you all. I will be in Moline, IL for class for two weeks. It appears to be about a 1.5 hour drive to the outlet in Williamsburg. I'm looking for things to do and I was thinking about checking out the outlet. On the Coach website it says the store closes early on Thursday. Is this true???

Also if you have any recommendations for things to do in Quad City area I will take them.

hmmm I don't know why they would close early. According to the outlet center website http://www.tangeroutlet.com/Williamsburg/hours it closes at 9pm. You could always call ahead and ask as well. 319-668-9077 is their number.

Sorry I don't know anything about the Quad Cities! I know there's the Naibi Zoo right on the border though, that's about all!
