Coaches on sale

Well I got my Coach at Belk in a mall that was a little ways from us. Our local Belk only sell Dooney, and I was wanting a Coach.
Anyways, I remember when I got my Dooney's I was told a few times that "designer" purses like them are never on sale. AT ALL. Since they come from the orginal stores themselves, etc.

But then I see threads about Macy's having a Coach sale, and so forth. Is this true? Are they ever on sale in like Belk or other stores that sell Coach.... or is it maybe only Macy's?

The big Dept stores put their outgoing bags on sale all the time...i don't know where you are located but here they are Dillards, Macy's, Nordstroms, Nordstrom Rack, Saks........

you can even catch some at Marshall's, TJMaxx...
