This is the situation.. I purchased a leather hamptons bag back in Feb of 2007. I used it a bit, and then stored it in the dust bag when I alternated to another bag. Anyway.. I just took the bag out of the dustbag again after about a year, and the color of the leather has faded quite noticibly in some areas. I know it's been a year and a half since I bough it, but it's hardly used, and was stored properly, so this shouldn't have happened. I took it back to the Coach store, was charged $20.00 to have my bag sent away and "looked at". The girl working was kind of rude and kind of hinting they would just send it back to me saying nothing could be done. So I guess my question is.. how good is Coach about these situation, and what do they usually do? If I get my bag back as is,,, Im not going to be impressed. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

Did you take pics before you sent it in?
Not sure, was the bag in direct sunlight even in the dustbag?

Maybe you should have taken pictures, to show before/after effects? But I guess you can't really worry about that now, since you already sent it away...

yeah, should have def. taken pics as should I have, I sent in my Optic Sig Carly at the begining of July, I got it as a gift brand new, except the zipper sticks/snags, its not smooth like every other coach I have. I sent it in for repair and got it back today, with no repair, no 40% off coupon, just letter stating that it was normal wear and tear, even though the bag was new unused w/tags and as an added bonus I now have a dark dirt/grease stain on an all white purse. Coach's quality/repair/commitment and all the nonsense on the creed is in all honesty pure bs. I've been an avid Coach supporter for well over the last 20 years, and today will mark the last day I support a company who does not stand behind there product or workmanship. I would be real weary as to expect any kind positive response from Coach, it seems that they just send out a default letter basically telling you to go f yourself.
