Hi everyone- very new here. I love Coach and read all your posts. I went to the outlet in Fremont/Angola Indiana area yesterday. I was amazed that I was the only person in there the entire time and had four people helping me. They had a rack of 50% off and 40% off the patchwork. I bought the last large patchwork book tote that I completely love. I went in there for the signature because I called in advance (like you all suggest) and they had a lot of signature bags but I fell in love with the large patch book tote. I never would have known about the outlets without this site. So thank you!!!

Anyone been to the Coach outlet in Round Rock Texas lately? I am thinking of going this weekend, but not sure if it is worth the trip? I tried to call the phone number but it is not working.

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe to drive from Houston to Austin? I used to drive from Lake Jackson (south of Houston) to Austin all the time and never had any trouble...so I would think you would be ok! But if you're going to drive all the way to Austin, I would go ahead and keep goin' to the San Marcos outlets and spend the night! The Coach outlet there is MUCH bigger and those outlets have much better selection than the Round Rock ones. The Round Rock one is worth going to only b/c it's just 15 minutes from where I live! :) hope this helps!

I agree w/phuong. The San Marcos outlet will blow your mind!! Apparently, that is the 2nd largest Coach outlet (according to the last SA I spoke to!). Plus, the outlets there has more stores anyways - google "prime outlet, san marcos, tx" or "chelsea premium outlet, round rock, tx" to see store listings.

Phoung, have you made it to the Round Rock outlets yet? I went in the beginning of September and wasn't too impressed. (I'd just been to San Marcos). BUT, they did have the Hamptoms collection (totes and hobos) for ~40% off. Great deal if you were looking for that! Let me know what you find!!

I DID make it out to the Round Rock outlets today and didn't see TOO many great deals (but I am a bit cheap... ). They had their patchwork bags (totes/shoulder bags) on sale for an additional 40% off...but I believe others have said the same as well.

There were some other hamptons bags on sale for additional 20% off...but I wouldn't say I saw anything FANTASTIC there.

A couple of weeks ago, I was there when they had this satiny line. I'm not sure about the name since I just only started playing on these boards.

Anyways, it was a bunch of totes/shoulder bags in black satin, gold satin, or white/turquoise satin that were additional 50% off! There was NOTHING over $100, even the HUGE totes. But those are gone.

The outlet right now has a LOT of fall stuff. Lots of purses in a dark turquoise color and tweed. So if any of you are interested in that, that's there!

I have my eye on this rectangular brown purse w/ pink stitching!! I don't know what the name is. It's that pebbley leather. The one I want is $189...but I'm going to wait to see if will get down to at least 20% off. Is that risky you think? Should I just get it? They had a lot of 'em!

Sorry so long! It was so fun to touch and play with everything!

^^Yeah I think so as well, but I think I'm okay with that, I would feel bad if I see it in outlets after paying for them honestly.

BTW, is it too late to buy a small satin satchel? When I saw it first I didn't like it because it was hand held, but lately I find myself carrying my bags this way and now I really want it LOL. Don't you hate when that happens!!

Has anyone been to the Las Vegas outlet stores lately? Are they have any sales coming up in the next couple of weeks? I will be there the first weekend in October and I'm hoping to make a purchase! :)

I think there's going to be a nice sale over Columbus day weekend, October 7th and such.

*pouts* Why are there no outlets near Kansas? :(

I guess I'll have to plan a serious shopping roadtrip to either Texas or Mizzou
