I've been reading many threads on how you buy Coach from outlets. You are so lucky. I've always paid full price at the Coach store. The only time I get a discount is when I get the 25% off preferred customer invites or when shoes go on sale at the store or Macy's. I've never been to an Outlet here in CA. We have a few there's one on your way to vegas and another going to palm springs, both are more than an hour or 2 away. I've always heard that they only carry old outdated styles and no signature and if they do get signature it sells fast. So I dont want to drive that far and come home empty. Is it that most of you are lucky? or that they carry better stuff in other states?

Thanks pursefanatic! I did some more digging and the Lancaster outlets are not Chelsea outlets, but Tanger and they are havng the sale (I guess next time I should dig around more first - sorry I was lazy, but thanks again!) On a different note - I can't believe I'm even considering going to this (or that my husband is actually in favor of the idea so I can bring stuff home for him)! |

I went to the outlet in Edinburg (spell?), Indiana today. AMAZING sales! Lots of signature stuff, along with patchwork signature. They had a few Hamptons hobos that were 50% off, and they came to $59 after all the discounts. Since I've wanted one of those FOREVER, I bought one. Couldn't resist. My mom picked up a bucket bottom swing pack too. Don't remember the discount on that. Either 20 or 30% off $89.
OMG. I usually go to the Aurora, IL outlet and this one was MUCH better. I didn't want to leave. |

I've never lived near a Coach outlet - they are always at least an hour from me. I never go to the outlet mall ONLY for the Coach outlet. I usually find SOMETHING - whether it's at Off Fifth or The Cosmetics Company or Gap. If you're looking for something specific, call the outlet nearest to you. If not, the hunt and thrill of finding an unexpected deal is really fun too.

Has anyone been to the Leesburg, VA outlets recently? I went for Columbus day and I walked out empty handed...I have tomorrow off, and Friday, and I was thinking of going on Friday since it's Veterens Day and my mom would like to go too, but, I'm really not in the mood to drive an hour away and return empty handed again lol.

It's pretty far. About 5 or so hours from Aurora. I go to school in West Lafayette, IN which is about 3 hours from there and was going to Louisville, KY for the weekend. So I was heading down the highway and stopped.
Obviously with a trip that long I wouldn't recommend going unless you live around there or are traveling in the area. |

I went to the outlet today on LI, it was huge! The last time I was there was April of this year and the store is like 3 times the size it used to be, I was amazed. They had everything there - way more than a regular Coach store. I got a Suede Tote - I don't know what it's called though, here's a picture:
