I dont live near a coach store, the closest one is 3 hours away across the boarder (i live in Canada) and the next closest one is about 4-5 hours away! So, I am planning a shopping trip across the boarder soon! Now, i was wondering what the difference was between a coach store and the outlet? Does the outlet just carry items older collection items?

No. I would much rather go to the outlet than the regular store. Recently I found a Gigi at an outlet for 30% off. They have plenty of newer things at the outlets.

From what I've seen, Coach the Boutique sells current merchandise (same as the web). You can't get everything you could get from the web, but their selection is ok.

Coach the Outlet has three different categories (IMO): 1) remainders (last/prior season stuff they didn't sell at the boutique/on the web), 2) made-for-factory items (like the Soho satchels) and 3) the random miscellaneous return from the Boutique (THOSE are the SCORES, again IMO, b/c provided that they're not TOO beat up, they are a GREAT deal!).

Well, styles get deleted quite quickly now, so you can actually find quite new items at the outlets.
