I misunderstood the bottom. I think I paid $800 for mine on eBay a while ago. Yes, they did get a deal. I don't think "As Is" is covered by Coach's warranty so it's a good thing it got fixed.

I read in another thread that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser did a fantastic job removing ink marks...have never tried it myself, but it is worth a try for that kind of deal...
