Question Closest Outlet to Arlington, TX?

My family and I will be visiting Six Flags over Texas in Arlington hopefully the end of the month. I know Allen, TX is not far away; but is there a more established outlet just as close? I have read on tpf that Allen doesn't have that much because they just opened. I'm only going to be able to go to one outlet on my trip, so I want to make sure I pick the right one.

For distance, the outlet in Allen is your only bet. The other outlet is in San Marcos, TX which is about 3.5 hours away from Arlington....that would be the more established outlet. There's also one in Austin.

Does the Allen outlet have plenty of selection? Worth the trip from Arlington?

At first I was like "wasn't this exact question asked:) "

Someone else asked for directions. You have Allen (the closest about 60 miles away) Houston (240 miles away) and San Marcos (230??? miles away)

Allen is your best bet. They are new and someone else said they don't get many transfers, but if you are in the area anyway might be worth the trip.

It is technically in Crypress.

From Humble take 59 to the Beltway to 290 North. Then it is about 10ish miles on the right. You will pass Fairfield and then BOOM it is right there.

There is an outlet in Round Rock (Austin) too......However your best bet will be the Allen outlet.....Allen is just another town connected to Dallas..it just happens to be the opposite side of Dallas than Arlington. With all the big highways in Dallas you should be able to get there in about 45min to 1 hour. Allen is new but they are getting the same bags now that all the other outlets are getting.....All the new stuff going to the outlets from the boutiques are hitting Allen.... per Mapquest Allen is only 45 miles away from Allen...

All the other outlets in TX are a "road trip" to another area of the State...Allen is just like driving across town to your "favorite mall".
