Give them the style number, as it's easier for them to locate it. They do move stuff around, so maybe it was moved or sold. Today is a REALLY busy day for them around here at least, and I was told things are going quickly. It's best to place anything you want on hold immediately and then pick it up later.

By the way, my other post was direct info from a manager regarding the duration of the sale...the sale will run "indefinitely" until pulled by corporate. So they don't know for how long, but definitely through a couple of days at least. This was from a PA outlet.

I was told it was only today. I asked because I will be traveling to SW Florida on Thursday and was just going to have them hold the items for me to purchase when I got there but I had to do a charge hold to get the 50% off.

As long as the tags are still on and you have your receipt, you can return and repurchase as long as your items is considered clearance. I just bought a couple of Leighs over the weekend, so I'm definitely going to be doing that. All Legacy is included in the clearance from what I was told. Basically anything in the clearance section that's redlined. If it's something brand new from retail that was a customer return, then most likely it won't fall in the clearance category.

I just called my local outlet, they said they do price adjustments on items that have been marked down further, you need to have the receipt and the items w/you... unfortunately the stuff I bought, none of it went down an additional discount... she said the clearance items are now an additional 50%, and then the other items are now 20-30% off...

That's interesting because the manager here was willing to hold my items for that sale price, and I would come in later. I had gone to that outlet quickly over the weekend, and right when I got back home, my SA called me about another shipment they just unpacked, etc. Now fortunately that stuff is 50% off.

To reiterate what baglady39 said...yes, as long as you have original reciept, tags, and form of payment (if CC--need same CC)...and it's w/in 14 days. As much as I don't want to go to the outlet right now, I think it'll be worth my while!

well i have my stuff on hold already it was yesterday that i did this and the store was EMPTY. but now im confused, should i chance it and wait until tomorrow to get the additional 25% off or go today and see about getting 50% off?? im not in nj so it wont be AC in in northcarolina on vacation so the good stuff may be there tomrrow because another tpf'er that was here told me stuff that was there in august and its still here now.

I think the SAs may be confused because I just got a different answer from another outlet. I will be passing another outlet on my way up to Sarasota on Thursday and I called to find out what legacy bags they have. They had a raisin Leigh which I was going to do a charge hold for but the manager came on the phone and told me that she would just hold it until Thursday and would give me the 50% off then. It sounds like this was unexpected so they're not quite sure what the ins and outs of the sale are.
